Tattoo shops attract very interesting characters. With any sub-culture, they are an interesting lens that allows us to see and interact with individuals from all walks of life.

At Tethered Steed Taka-san specializes in Japanese Irezumi style body suits. A close friend of mine is an apprentice here which has led me to spending quite a bit of time in the shop.

Taka-san has welcomed me with open arms and it is such a treat to get to see a true master of his craft at work.
